RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a standalone expansion released on July 17, 2025. It doesn't require the base game and offers a more focused 7–12 hour experience. The story follows RoboCop after a deadly mercenary assault on his precinct. Guided by mysterious radio messages, he ascends the OmniTower—an unfinished skyscraper overtaken by elite enemies—to rescue civilians, uncover a personal vendetta, and stop the merc leader connected to his past. The game features flashbacks where you play as Alex Murphy before becoming RoboCop, adding emotional depth and gameplay variety. Combat is faster-paced with all core abilities unlocked from the start—like time-slowing and armor boosts—and new weapons like a Cryo Cannon, minigun, and grenades. Players also briefly control ED‑209 in powerful flashback sequences. While the setting is more linear, the tower includes side quests, police decisions, and engaging civilian interactions. Peter Weller returns as the voice of RoboCop, and the dark retro-futuristic style is preserved. However, the game suffers from some bugs, performance issues, and dated animations. Despite those flaws, it received solid reviews (7.5–8/10) and is praised for its tight gameplay, narrative expansion, and satisfying action.
